Besides what we mentioned above regarding the aging of the population, new advances in technology have allowed quality home care to become a reality. Nursing is rushing into fill that void, and if you are a technologically savvy nurse with a bit of experience in this area you are bound to cash in. Besides the capability of home health care, the other driving force is demand. Hospitals and nursing care facilities are in the news all the time these days, usually for the wrong reasons after some egregious mistake has harmed or killed a patient. As such, people are more comfortable with the idea of home visits, even if the statistics do not necessarily suggest this is any safer. In sum, there are a wide range of LPN jobs available and the field will only continue to grow in the future.
